It was great to return to school this week following half term. The laughter and welcoming smiles in this building have been encouraging.
As we approach the first anniversary of the initial Covid Lockdown, I can honestly say this has been my most challenging year, not only as an educator, but as a parent as well.
It’s been a very different week for most of us at Spring Brook Upper. I started my week on Sunday evening when we got the news about our bubble bursting. It was only a matter of time.
This week Mr Bocking has returned to complete the fitness challenges online. He did really well with his costumes and even had some little helpers one day who were super cute.

The highlight of my week was on Tuesday when Mr Bocking did the fitness challenge dressed as Big Bird from Sesame Street. I totally belly laughed.

Welcome to the last blog of this year. For many 2020 has been a year that we won’t forget. As we reflect on this year gone by we must try to remain positive.
This week’s blog is a tribute to the staff team here at Spring Brook. Mr Southerington, Miss Thomason and I held our Governors meeting this Wednesday evening.
What a lovely way to end the week – snow! Alyssa said that it was every child’s dream to play in the snow.
