For a 4 day week it sure has been a busy one! This week at Spring Brook we have enjoyed the chance to really focus on team work. We have had a few trips out to the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) and Castleshaw. Mr Page liked the MOSI so much that he asked if he could go again. He took Mr Mullins’ class and Miss Roberts’ class for a nice day out. He is now an expert guide for the MOSI!
This week we have welcomed another new student. Welcome to our Spring Brook family, Jayden. Jayden has made a positive start and has developed good relationships with staff and he has made some new friends.
Let’s have a look at what our Nurture Group have been learning this week..
After our long Bank Holiday weekend the boys went straight off to soft play. On the way back we took advantage of the lovely weather and stopped at the park, where the group let off some of their energy as the photographs show..
Harry and Harvey had a break from sewing their cushions and painted cupcake money boxes..
In their Maths lesson the group have been using function machines before they move on to substitution. The boys have worked really hard in our shortened week – well done boys..
Being a Manchester United fan I just about managed a smile when Mrs T from our lower school invited us to see the City trophies. It is just a shame that Keal (our biggest City fan) was on holiday and he missed out..
We end our week wishing our site manager Mr Sefton a very ‘Happy Birthday’.
