Welcome back to another blog from Dean Street. We have had a very busy week – where does the time go? Before I know it, I’m sat here writing another blog. This week here at Dean Street we have been re-focusing on our three expectations:

• Ready, Respect, Safe?

Are / have you been ready to learn this week? Mason worked so hard to catch up with his learning he even took some work home to complete. Well done Mason – now that you are a year older, it is good to see you taking some responsibility for your learning. Mason celebrated his birthday this week – Happy Birthday Mason!

Year 7 have been busy working towards their John Muir Award with Mr Hopkins – exploring wild places. Just look at these stunning pictures..

Well done to DJ for achieving this week’s ‘Senior Leadership Pupil of the Week Award’. As you can see, he thoroughly enjoyed his reward – a meatball sub with sweetcorn, gherkins and all the trimmings!

So that’s it for another week folks. I am looking forward to a weekend of cricket and football with George.
