Chinese New Year

Class 6 have had great fun this week celebrating Chinese New Year. 

This year is the year of the dragon. The boys found out what year they were born in we have a class of goats, roosters and monkeys!

We looked at the zodiac and made Chinese story hat, making sure we got the animals in the correct order. They made some fantastic masks and lanterns.

The boys worked together as a group to create this amazing Chinese Dragon and had a go at performing a dragon dance.

The week was rounded off with noodles, prawn crackers and mastering using chopsticks, which is not as easy as it looks!
